How To Change Unlock Button In Android Phones[Using Proximity Sensor]

Today I will show you a quick and dirty way to change unlock button in Android phone. It’s really annoying especially in some HTC phones where you have to press the Power Button every time to unlock the screen. More over frequently pressing the buttons quickly may damage it.

For this method we will be using a feature called Proximity Sensor, which is inbuilt in almost every Android phone. Proximity sensor is situated just below your ear phone jacket. So with this method you can unlock the screen by just touching on your proximity sensor or just swiping over your screen starting from your proximity sensor.

For this method we will be using an app called Auto Screen On which is a free app available on Play Store. It’s just 65kb and hence can be easily downloaded. Now I assume that you have downloaded the app.

  • Open the App Auto Screen On
  • Click on Choose Sensor
  • Select Proximity Sensor

Thats it, you are all set to use your phone in a sexy way.Now to unlock the phone all you want to do click on your phones proximity sensor[situated on the screen just below the ear phone jacket] or slide your finger from near the screen down the earphone jacket. I am using Samsung Galaxy S3 and I have noted that when the proximity sensor option is switched on with this app a small red light appears there on proximity sensor.

Now its time to show out to your friends this sexy feature .Do drop comments her if you face any difficulty in using this feature.
