Android Is The Most Used Mobile OS of 2012

In a recent survey conducted by MBAOnline it was found that Android is the most used Operating System of 2012.In 2005,Google began purchasing a lot of start ups among which Android was one.Now that almost unheard of OS is the best Mobile Os in the world.That’s what happened in the last 7 years.From the survey conducted by MBAOnline following conclusions were made:

• Three-Fourth of the Mobiles brought in 2012 was Android.
• Android has 250 million yearly activation where as Apple has only 104.7 million activations.
• Almost quarter of Billion Android Devices are available now.
• Android Market and App Store now have similar number of apps.
• Google Play earns two third of the revenue App Store earns.

From the above conclusion we get impression that Android beats IOS by long time.But we cannot conclude this as the reality.Because the above survey is completely based on annual activations and cold hard sales.Just because Android is the most used operating system does not mean that it is the best operating system available on the planet.We have to consider that number of Apple products available are hardly more than 30 where as the number of Android devices are like stars.You just can’t count them.More over Android devices are available at really cheap prices where as Apple devices are costly.So its crystal clear that more people will go for Android because of its cheapness.So the war between Android and IOS remains still unsettled.
