For hiding a picture inside another picture in whatsapp you will require an application called MagiApp.Its a free appplication is just 970kb in size.Download the MagiApp from here:MagiApp Play Store Link.
After installing the application it will ask you for two images True Image and Fake Image.True Image is the image that will be shown as the thumbnail and Fake image is the image that will be opened once your friend clicks on the image.Give the app these two images and click on the Do Magic Button.
